The Summer Sling is a 3-day workshop of stage combat, stunts, and more! Sessions are led by world-class fight directors, stunt coordinators, instructors, and artists from Broadway, Off- Broadway, Film, TV, and some of the nations top universities and regional theatres. Whether you are an industry professional, artist- in-training, or never held a sword in your life, now is your chance to train with the best in the business and have a blast meeting (and fighting) fellow artists!
Pricing
The cost of the 2026 Summer Sing will be:
3 Days: $425 Early Registration Price ($475 after June 15)
2 Days: $325 Early Registration Price ($375 after June 15)
1 Day: $195 Early Registration Price ($225 after June 15)

FAQs
Are there any age restrictions?
At this time, we are not accepting students under the age of 16. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, please contact us before registering.
How do I sign up for classes?
Class signup links will be emailed to registrants approximately one week before the workshop in groups based on date of registration. Earliest registrants will have first dibs on class sign ups, so get your spot today!
Will SAFD Certification be available?
Our workshop does not provide certification of any type, but there may be opportunity for those with SAFD Certification to renew. Please email us if you are looking to renew any SAFD certifications.
How do I get a t-shirt?
T-shirts will be included with all registrations! Be sure to include your size when you sign up.
Are there scholarships or payment plans available?
We have a limited number of scholarships available: apply here. Payment plans may be available, contact us for inquiries.
Where will classes be held?
Classes will be held in the Tow Center for the Performing Arts on the east end of Brooklyn College campus. We recommend hotel accommodations at the Ramada just across the street, or taking the 2/5 trains to Flatbush Ave/Brooklyn College.
